FRANKINCENSE Oil | Boswellia sacra
Welcome to Sacred Plants Australia.
We greet you in the Love and Light.
We currently have available:
FRANKINCENSE Oil - Boswellia sacra
Available in 10ml glass dropper bottles.
Our Frankincense Oil possesses a high quality medicinal profile and is made from the finest organic ingredients.
Full spectrum Frankincense Oil contains the highly sough after Boswellic Acid that has powerful anti-inflammatory activity. Regular Frankincense essential oils don’t possess this molecule, as it isn’t captured during the steam distillation process.
Our Frankincense Oil is made by slowly dissolving hand selected Boswellia sacra resin pieces in organic MCT Coconut Oil using gentle heat and continuous stiring. It’s then filtered leaving a beautifully refined oil with high medicinal value. Safe to use on the skin or to ingest for remarkable health benefits.
The Frakinincense resin we use is sustainably harvested from Boswellia sacra trees that are over 500 years old. Frankincense Resin is imported from the Dhofar region in Oman, which is near the coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The resin used is considered the highest grade of Frankincense available in the world. Its pure refreshing smell is reminiscent of supreme quality Frankincense with generous hints of Citrus.

FRANKINCENSE Oil | Boswellia sacra
Frankincense oil has many uses ranging from healing your skin to speeding up recovery when you’re sick, making it one of the most popular oils used worldwide. It can also be used as a beard oil.
To safely take it internally, use a few drops of Frankincense Oil placed under your tongue, on the roof of your mouth or mixed into tea.
To use frankincense on your skin, do a patch test first to make sure you don’t react negatively before using it on larger areas of your skin. If you’re prone to sinus infections, allergies or asthma, then add a few drops to a cloth and inhale deeply several times per day.
The following dosages of Boswellia Oil are often recommended, although it depends on your specific goals and current health condition:
For lowering inflammation, take 1-2 drops of daily.
For treating inflammatory conditions like arthritis, osteroarthritis, asthma, chronic pain, inflammatory bowel disease or injuries, try a higher dose between 4-5 drops per day.
If you rather take Boswellia in supplement form, look for a high-quality resin. Check for the species name - whether Boswellia sacra, Boswellia serrata or Boswellia carteri - and avoid brands that use artificial fillers and additives.
